Speculation has been ongoing concerning the amount of money that Tanzanian sensation Diamond Platnumz rakes in.
Some have been quoted stating that he is arguably East Africa’s richest artiste.
Popular radio presenter Maina Kageni seems to have an idea of how much Platnumz makes.
According to Maina, the star makes about Sh 1 million a day, from downloads; note that this does not include shows and other endorsements.

Maina said this urging musicians that music can pay one’s bills. According to the presenter, all they have to do is emulate Chibu Dangote.
