C: It doesn’t matter so long as they look good.
P: What was your recent beauty buy?
C: A MAC make up kit from the UK. I love MAC products because they suit the African skin colour.
P: What can one never have too many of?
C: Shoes! I am crazy about shoes and just love them; I have so many pairs of boots and canvas shoes.
P: Which ensemble would you love to try out?
C: A sheer dress. They look sexy, especially the ones that bring out your curves.
P: Which hairdo completes your look?
C: I love haircuts. Right now I have a Mohawk.
P: What is your favourite colour?
Choku: My favourites are gold, black and white; neutral colours look very cool on anything.
P: How often do you shop?
C: I do a lot of impulse buying but I do not go beyond a certain amount of money in a month. I buy stuff when I see it, because if you shop when you need the outfit you end up not getting what you want.
P: When was the last time you bought an item you didn’t like?
C: Last year, I bought a jacket and when I got home I realised that it was not that good.
P: What is the most you can spend on a pair of shoes?
C: Sh15,000. If I like the shoe very much I can buy it for that amount. But I would prefer to spend less. Last week I bought boots for Sh14,000.
P: What is the least you can spend on your hair?
C: Sh400. That’s what I pay to refresh my haircut at the barber.
