Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna took his rivals by the horns, accusing the Jubilee aspirant Mike Sonko of engaging in shady drug deals.
Miguna lambasted Sonko with claims he acquired his monies through shady deals, money he 'purports' to use to rescue hapless city residents.
"Sonko is a cartel because he has criminal record and right now, he has grabbed many pieces of land and then stages a PR stunts where he video tapes and pretends he has come to rescue.
He has a criminal record from Mombasa where he was jailed because of fraud, forgery and drug dealing. Then he run away from jail" said Miguna.
"Even Jubilee knows that Sonko is a drug dealer who was named by the Central Intelligence Agency in 2009. We are not going to turn Nairobi into a narcotics city, nor are we going to allow Nairobi to be in the hands of mediocre leaders who have no vision.”

Senator Sonko however dismissed Miguna's allegations, claiming the drugs he knows about are prescription drugs only.
"The only drugs which I know are the drugs which the doctors who I hire during my medical camps bring (sic). Those drugs given by doctors and nurses are the only ones I know" Sonko retorted.
He complained that, "Miguna is always terming me drug dealer yet he has never tabled documents to prove his allegations beyond reasonable doubt. We have children and supporters watching this show.”
