LG’s original G-Flex did not reach the heights expected after its release. Many were not so pleased with its dramatic curve, its enormous size (6-inch display) and its exorbitant price.

This, however, did not stop the company from coming up with a second version of the device, and to ensure it did not suffer a similar fate, the company made a few changes to the new smartphone.

Unlike the first version, LG G-Flex 2 has a more subtle shape and size. Its P-OLED display has a resolution of 1080x1920 at 403 ppi (pixels per inch) and has been reduced to 5.5 inches. The phone’s curve is also less pronounced, thus it is now easier for users to hold and interact with it.

The biggest improvement, however, is its Qualcom Snapdragon 810 SoC processor which makes the handset extremely fast and helps boost its battery life. It is reportedly the first official smartphone to feature the new Qualcom octa-core 64 bit processor.

G-Flex 2 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
