Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve is finally back home after being discharged from the hospital following a shooting incident at Nairobi’s B-club earlier this year.

Taking to his Instagram account, the 27-year-old DJ broke the news to his fans, adding that he’ll be back despite his condition.

“Still have a long way to go, but I’ll be back. Thank you all for the well wishes,” said DJ Evolve.

B-club management also shared a video on their official Instagram account and captioned it ‘Welcome back DJ Evolve.’

“Welcome back home, King, we can’t wait to dance to your vibe once this lockdown is over,” said B-club management.

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino was arrested on January 17, 2020, in connection to the shooting incident at B-club in Kilimani area, Nairobi.

The Embasaki East MP was arraigned in court, and in his ruling, Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi directed Babu Owino to deposit Sh10 million cash bail in four equal instalments of Sh2.5 million each for three months.

The Magistrate said that some of the money would be used to settle DJ Evolve’s medical bills.

However, on Tuesday, March 3, Justice Luka Kimaru said there were no compelling reasons to deny Babu Owino bail, adding that he is not obliged to continue paying the DJ’s medical bill.

Through his lawyer Duncan Okatch, the MP stated that he paid over Sh5m for the hospital bills.
