Health CAS Dr Rashid Aman on Saturday stated that hawking in
Eastleigh and Old Town is prohibited until further notice.
This comes just days after CS Mutahi Kagwe announced
cessation of movement in and out of the two areas which he described as high
risk.
Further, all forms of gatherings remain illegal and malls,
eateries and restaurants will remain shut as part of a plan to contain the
spread of the virus.
Dr Aman also warned that some restaurants that had resumed operations
might be shut down since they have not fully adhered to testing of employees.
This comes as the country recorded 28 new cases of
Coronavirus bringing the national tally to 649.
