Gang rapes, beats up 102-year-old woman in Kitui

A gang in Lower Yatta sub county, Kitui county shocked the area residents after raping and beating up a woman aged 102.

According to Lower Yatta sub county police commander Charles Chacha, investigations have already been launched to manhunt for the perpetrators.

“We have launched investigations into the incident and police are trailing the suspected rapists,” said the Police Commander.

Chacha also says that the incident was reported on Sunday despite it happening on Saturday night.

The police commander condemned the incident citing that the rapists badly beat up the woman, leaving her with injuries all over the body and a black eye.
