A Nyamira express bus on Friday caught fire on Wangari Maathai road in Nairobi.
Reports indicate the fire started from the back while passengers were on board.
Members of the public quickly assisted passengers to get off the bus and firefighters responded in good time to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
In November 2018, a similar incident was reported at Manyani area in Taita Taveta when a bus belonging to Tahmeed company burst into flames on its way to Mombasa.
Over 40 passengers escaped unhurt but all their belongings were consumed by the fire.
The incident came just two weeks after a Simba Coach bus caught fire in Kibwezi.
