NASA leader Raila Odinga met DRC President Felix Tshisekedi earlier this week and shared photos of their meeting online.
Odinga was accompanied by Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o and his daughter Winnie Odinga but one Bernard Mogaka Nyaribo had a problem with the latter’s presence in the meeting that took place at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.
“Raila and his daughter in DRC as his secretary. IMPUNITY! @RailaOdinga @winnie_odinga,” wrote Nyaribo.
This quickly drew the attention of Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) who were quick to remind him to get his facts right.

“You've indeed confirmed that, little knowledge is dangerous.”
“Hapa ilikua nairobi jana usiku, get facts right bro. Is Winnie a public servant? kwani kuna shida mtu akitembea na babake?”
“I thought this was Safari park. The president of DRC was in the country; please verify info”
“He should also 'verify' the meaning of impunity.”
“This was in Safari Park sir. I don’t see any problem with @winnie_odinga accompanying the father to any event. Even if it was in Kinshasa, so what?”
Odinga announced that he held fruitful discussions with Tshisekedi on matters infrastructure and energy generation in Africa.
“Met with President Felix Tshisekedi for a discussion that centered on Infrastructure in Africa and the key role of the DRC which is located at the heart of the Trans Africa rail and highway networks.
“We also touched on the importance of sufficient energy generation on the continent and how this leads to faster overall development for all our people,” he said.
