A ward representative from a county in Western Kenya has set tongues wagging over his deep pockets.
The MCA who is doing his first term in office recently gave a donation of Sh500, 000 at a harambee in his ward, shocking members of the public and his colleagues alike.
Word has it in the region that not even the Governor or area MP has given such a colossal amount of money in a fundraiser.
Apart from the hefty donations, since taking office the loaded local legislator has funded the construction of an ECDE block classroom in each school in his ward from his pocket.
The activities of the youthful politician that drives a top of the range vehicle, has made many people speculate that he may be eyeing higher office in 2022.
