MP's husband considering divorce as wife 'too busy'

The marriage of a first time female lawmaker is on the rocks, if sentiments made by her husband, who single-handedly bankrolled the campaign of the MP are anything to go by.

Last Saturday, the partner of the youthful politician who is not new to controversy was overheard lamenting how his wife no longer has time for him and the family.

The legislator’s spouse explained to his friend at a city joint that the woman representative always claims to be in meetings in parliament that go way past midnight.

“I wonder what meeting is conducted at 2am in the national assembly as she claims,” said the man, who told his friend that he is considering divorce.
