NASA has said they would not let their presidential candidate Raila Odinga take part of the presidential debate slated for July 10, hour after Jubilee announced that President Uhuru would not be on the hot seat.

Through a press statement, the coalition's chief publicist Salim Lone has said the NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga will not participate in the debate under the current proposed format and stipulation.

Jubilee party's Secretary General Raphael Tuju had announced the decision on President Kenyatta's having pulled out of the event citing lack of proper communication between the organisers and State House.

NASA has urged the Head of State to be open for debate against Mr. Odinga on the issues they felt affect Kenyans currently.

Presidential candidate Abduba Dida on the other hand moved to court accusing the organisers of the debate of having unfairly excluded him.
