Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo has asked the National Super Alliance (NASA) to file a case against Deputy President William Ruto for alleged defamatory statements he made during a political rally in Murang'a.
The Deputy President Wednesday accused NASA flag-bearer Raila Odinga of inciting the Maasai community to drive those who are not of their own away from Kajiado County.
But speaking during an interview on TV Wednesday night, the fierce parliamentarian gave a stern warning to President Uhuru Kenyatta's running mate.
"You cannot just put words into the mouth of someone, Raila Odinga did not incite anyone but only told them to protect their land. As a lawyer I'm advising NASA to file a defamatory suit against the Deputy President". She said, adding that there is enough evidence to substantiate the case
Hon. Millie Odhiambo also maintained NASA's stance on revoking the ballot tender awarded to Dubai printing company Al Ghurair despite printing of the 120 million ballot papers scheduled to start this Friday.

"They cannot simply award Al Ghurair the tender just because they had printed ballot papers for previous by-elections, otherwise there was no need for conducting the procurement process", she added.
She added that they were disappointed with the process and asked IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati to take the matter seriously and with sobriety.
