Governor Kenneth Lusaka has called on contractors revamping roads in the county to speed up their work to improve the transport network.
Speaking while inspecting roads in Bungoma town on Monday, Mr Lusaka warned lazy contractors their contracts will revoked and blacklisted.
"You have been given this job by the county government and you should finish it within agreed timelines. We cannot tolerate lazy workmen," said Lusaka.
He said Posta-Co-operative road will be recarpeted to allow residents and businessmen easier movement. "This road has been full of potholes but I am assuring you after three months the road network will be good," Lusaka said.
