Nairobi, Kenya - Police officers have released photos of three hardcore criminals who escaped from Kamiti Maximum prison and are requesting the public to report suspicious people.
The three hardcore prisoners escaped from Kamiti Maximum prison Friday night as a woman was accidentally shot and injured in the process of pursuing them.
Officials say the incident happened at about 2am when the prisoners cut a metal grill of their cell and made it out.
An alarm went off alerting the warders on duty who dashed for them.
According to Kasarani OCPD Francis Sang, it was in the process that a woman was shot and wounded in Kahawa West area. “The woman was shot by mistake,” Sang said.
