The National Alliance (TNA) MPs in Nakuru have said the county was shortchanged during the recent parastatal appointments.
Njoro MP Joseph Kiuna said the Jubilee administration has continued to ignore the county when it comes to appointments.
"We are warning Jubilee that if it continues ignoring our people it will not be business as usual in 2017. We gave the President the second highest number of votes after Kiambu but when it comes to appointments we are forgotten," Kiuna said.
Mr Kiuna and his Bahati counterpart Kimani Ngunjiri said locals should be considered in appointments to the Geothermal Development Company (GDC) as the county is home to the geothermal projects.
"GDC is the county's main natural resource. Thus we should have a person who hails from here heading the company," Kiuna said.
