A man suspected to have killed his expectant wife and two-year-old daughter appeared at a Kisii High Court Friday and pleaded not guilty to the murder charges.
The suspect, Joash Marube, took his plea before Judge Chrispin Nangila and was represented by defense counsel Richard Miecha.
The defense lawyer requested the court to grant his client bond, but the judge set May 27, as mention date and date to determine bond request.
The suspect, is accused together with others not in court, of murdering his wife Azenath Kerubo and infant Naomi Nyatichi on March 20, at their home in Nyamira County.
