Nairobi, Kenya: Narok Senator Stephen Ole Ntutu and four MPs released on a personal bond of Sh500, 000 each after being arraigned in Milimani court Thursday over alleged incitement.
Senator Ntutu and MPs Moitalel Kenta (Narok North), KoreiLemein (Narok South), Patrick Ntutu (Narok West) and Johana Ngeno (EmurwaDikir) were arrested Wednesday and locked up at Muthaiga Police Station cells.
The leaders had earlier been ordered to appear at CID headquarters where they were questioned for several hours in connection with Monday’s protests in Narok in which two people died and several injured.
Following the arrests, angry residents of Narok blocked all roads Thursday morning demanding for their released.
