Mombasa, Kenya: Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, has again won a case against his competitor Suleiman Shahbal after the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Appeal Court demanding that he should pay the cost of the case he had filed.
The highest court in the land pronounced itself on the both the decision of the Appeal Court on the validity of the case he had filed and on its decision to slap Shahbal with the cost.
A six-judge bench composed of Justices Kalpana Rawal, Phillip Tunoi, Mohamed Ibrahim, Jacton Ojwang', Smokin Wanjala and Njoki Ndung'u ruled that Shahbal did not compel the court to vary the Court of Appeal's orders as to costs.
