NAIVASHA, KENYA: A body of middle-aged man was found dumped in a thicket in Suswa area along the Mai Mahiu-Narok road.
The body which was found by herders brings to three the number of men who have been killed elsewhere and their bodies dumped in Naivasha in unclear circumstances.
The victim who had a belt around his neck is suspected to have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped a few meters from the busy highway.
According to a witness, Peter Nakupele, a group of herders grazing their animals in the area on Monday morning spotted the body.
He added that there were fresh vehicle tyre marks on the scene indicating that the body was ferried from elsewhere.

"The man in his early 40s had some documents and a belt around his neck and it seems like the body was ferried to the scene," he said.
The witness said that the victim did not have any physical injury adding that there were also no signs of struggle at the scene.
Naivasha deputy OCPD Agnes Amojong confirmed the incident adding that the body had been collected and taken to the area mortuary.
She added that initial investigations indicated that the man was killed elsewhere and the body dumped by the roadside.
"The victim has some documents and we have started investigations over the issue and we call on members of the public to volunteer any information to us," she said.
The incident comes barely a week after the bodies of two men were found dumped in a culvert along the Naivasha-Kinangop road.
And a week after the bodies were found by motorcycle operators, they are yet to be identified and have been lying at the public mortuary.
