A karting clinic for the 50cc and 60cc class go-karts has been organised to take place GP Karting Nairobi track on Sunday from 9am to 12 noon.
During the clinic, Team Magic mechanics will be available to assist with the correct set up of the clinic karts.
The clinic is set to take place in the run up to the 10th and last round of the RVM&SC Karting Championship which culminates at Solai racetrack in nakuru on Saturday, November 27.
Sunday, November 28 has been set aside, by parents and competitors, for a bash to celebrate achievements of the 2010 season .
It will be interesting in the karting season closer as three championships have been already sealed by Dilip Dinesh (KF2), Tush Mavji (KF3) and Rafe Trundell at 60cc class.
Young drivers
The showdown for the championship in the 50cc class will, however, pit Prabjot Saimbi against Damon Oosterik.
Out of the current field of 32 drivers, 18 karters are newcomers in the 2010 RVM&SC Karting championship. Indeed, some young drivers will be drivingin their last race before moving on to the next level.
Already Harkamal Singh and Jeremy Wahome have confirmed moving up the ranks from 60cc to the KF3 class. Former Motocross rider Akash Amrit who previously raced at 60cc will be making a comeback-this time round as a KF3 driver.
The Karting committee of RVM&SC Club is determined to introduce the Rotex engine to run alongside the KF-series engines.
