My style is… African wear because they are free size and comfortable. They also make you stand out from the crowd.

Tell us about your Afro. I’ve had it for two years. It’s easy to maintain and I can work on it at home by myself. I also go to the salon at least once every two weeks for treatment.

Accessories to me are… Something that represents my culture since I’m proud of it. I like African accessories. I don’t see why I should wear something from abroad yet the people abroad may not wear or appreciate the African style.

I dressed my worst when I wore… A caftan (long African top) and black khaki pants. I was attending my usual rehearsals so I didn’t really care until someone asked me out for a date, then it hit me, that those clothes should never be worn anywhere else apart from rehearsals.

Men look good in? Fitting jeans, nice shirt and a good pair of shoes. But they have also to smell good.

Chick’s should stop wearing… Very tight trousers with panty lines showing. And please, if you don’t know how to walk in heels don’t even wear them.

Men should keep away from? Sagging jeans. It looks really ugly; there is a reason why God gave us waists.

Favourite fragrance? Echo by Davidoff and Be Delicious by DKNY.

What is your worst habit? I tend to buy things that I might not need later. It’s so bad, that every time I pass by a supermarket, I have to go in, having in mind that there might be something I want in there.

While going on holiday, I cannot leave home without… My lip-gloss, chewing gum, tissues and my tea flask. I love tea so much I carry my flask everywhere everyday.

I have a fetish for… Shoes, I buy them all the time even if they don’t fit me, I’ll still buy and give them to someone.

Fashion advice? Always be comfortable and let it not be something that portrays you negatively.
