Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Bayern Munich youngster Renato Sanches, but will have to settle for a one-year loan.
That is according to The Sun, who say Jose Mourinho is still keen to sign the 19-year-old after missing out on his services to Bayern last summer.
The Portuguese flier shone for his country at Euro 2016 which convinced Bayern to shell out £31million to take him to the Allianz Arena.
But he has failed to hold down a first-team spot with Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hinting the starlet could leave the club in search of more regular football.
