Goalkeeper Tim Howard was handed a three-match match suspension after a confrontation with a fan.
The goalkeeper was given a three-game ban and a fine for foul language towards a fan during the match at Children's Mercy Park.
"Tim Howard made an unfortunate and regrettable mistake for which he is being disciplined by MLS," read a team statement on the Rapids' website.
