Manchester United: Wayne Rooney on sale

Manchester United could still part with Wayne Rooney before the end of the month, reports the Telegraph.

Jose Mourinho had stated that he expected the United skipper to stay at the club at least until the end of the season, last month.

However, the 31-year-old remains out of the first-choice starting XI and there's renewed optimism in the Far East that he could head to China before the close of the transfer window at the end of the month.

The England captain has not started a Premier League game since mid-December and has offers worth £32million-a-year on the table.
