Manchester United target Fabinho tarnished Manchester United’s dream of ever signing him as the player has now signed a new five-year deal at Monaco.

The Brazilian right-back had been strongly linked with an Old Trafford switch this summer despite United splashing the cash on four big-name signings.

Fabinho, who is now in his fourth season at Monaco, will not be on the move for a while after committing his future to the French giants.

The 22-year-old has already clocked up 164 appearances for his club, and has helped himself to four international caps since 2015.

Fabinho’s future certainly looks bright, and the versatile defender admits he’s delighted to be staying put in his sunny surroundings.

Fabinho has spent the last three seasons playing for the French giants.

According to U.K media outlet The Sun, Fabinho said that he was very pleased to extend his stay at Monaco.
