Opposition leaders will today meet to discuss how to arrive at a compromise presidential candidate to take on President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The meeting will bring together Orange party leader Raila Odinga, Amani National Congress (ANC) boss Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Ford-Kenya's Moses Wetang'ula.
The meeting comes at a time when the four leaders have intensified campaigns in different parts of the country to rally supporters to register as voters and get ready to elect an Opposition presidential candidate under the yet-to-be-launched National Super Alliance (Nasa).
Mr Wetang'ula yesterday termed the meeting a "crucial and sensitive one" that would determine the country's destiny.
Speaking in Malava, Kakamega County, after mobilising residents to register as voters, the Senate minority leader remained optimistic that an ideal leader would be picked as the Opposition flag bearer.

"Tomorrow (today), the four of us are going to have an important meeting to ensure that we stand together and continue to look for one person to lead the Opposition," said Wetang'ula.
And while addressing his supporters in Budalang'i on his tour of Busia County over the weekend, the senator said he was ready to sacrifice his presidential ambitions for someone else within the Opposition.
