A senator has urged CORD leader Raila Odinga not to bow to pressure by ODM governors to get preferential treatment.
Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale said some governors wanted to use the "easy route" to be re-elected through demanding for direct nomination.

Dr Khalwale said that the recent violence in Muliro Gardens, Kakamega was instigated by leaders from the county who were scared of losing their seats in the next elections.
