A fire razed a dormitory at Masara Mixed Secondary School in Suna West, Migori County last night destroying property worth thousands of shillings.
The 9:30pm inferno started when students were in class. No one was injured.

The school management said the burnt dormitory hosts 113 male students. Their belongings including beds and mattresses were destroyed in the inferno.
At the time of the fire incident, 76 Form four candidates were in the school.
The affected students were forced to spend the night in their classrooms.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
