Family’s agony after girl, 13, goes missing

A family in Naivasha is searching for their 13-year-old daughter who went missing in unclear circumstances six days ago.
Schola Wambui Maina, a Class Seven pupil at Ridges View Academy in Naivasha, is said to have disappeared when she was sent to a nearby shop on Sunday evening.
“We sent her to buy bread on Sunday evening but she never returned and we have been searching for her without any success,” said the girl’s father, John Gaitho.

He said the minor had closed school and was to travel up-country for December holiday. He called on members of the public with any information on her whereabouts to inform him or report to the police.
