The following story shows that perverts are alive and well in our public spaces. We choose to withhold the identity of the writer:
“This morning, as I travelled to work, this ‘kamzee’ sat next to me. He had a big bag which he placed on his lap. After some time, I felt a hand on my thigh. I thought I was imagining things, so I checked but of course saw nothing.
After a while, his hand started to do the walking again, but this time more boldly. Weee! I don’t think he will forget the slaps I rained on his foolish head any time soon... and did I say the pervert was close to my dad’s age? Nkt!” The ‘kamzee’ should be behind bars by now.
So the next time you are in matatu , be careful. And don’t shush, speak the hell up. These perverts should not walk free.
