A woman has been charged with conning three people of Sh4.6 million on the pretence that she would sell them a piece of land in Kakamega Township.
Jamila Opanga Musa denied receiving Sh430, 000 from Timothy Omutembete on May 14, 2015 and Sh700,000 from Agneta Mrumba on September 8, 2015.
She also denied conning Pascal Makokha of Sh3.5 million in September 2015. Prosecutor Betty Rotich described her as a notorious land con artist.
