Nurses have called off their strike after signing a deal with the county administration.
The medics signed an agreement with the County Health Department, terminating the 44-day strike that had grounded services in public health facilities across the county.
They had raised their complaints over a number of issues, including delayed salaries, inadequate staffing, need for better allowances, inadequate supply of drugs and poor working conditions.
