Kenya Police pose the greatest threat to defending champions Nairobi County Boxing Club ahead of the National Intermediate Championships in Ndenderu, Kiambu, from Thursday.

A total of 14 teams will take part in the three-day competition, the first in Boxing Association of Kenya's 2017 calendar.

The teams include defending champions Nairobi County Boxing Club, hosts Ndenderu, Kenya Police, Omar Kassongo Sports Academy (OKSA), Kibera, Kentract, Congo Soweto and Kenyatta National Hospital.

Others are Kisumu Combined, Nakuru ABC, Nanyuki, Thika, Mombasa and Meru Combined from Eastern.

Kenya Defence Forces and Kenya Prisons are yet to confirm participation, according to BAK Vice President Albert Matito.
