FOOTBALL: Coach Okidi now joins Ushuru

Former Nakuru All Stars head coach Peter Okidi has joined Ushuru as an assistant. Okidi replaces former international Tillien Oguta who held the position previously but was replaced at the end of last season. “Okidi has joined the Ushuru technical bench as coach Ken Kenyatta seeks to revamp the team. The team is determined to do even better and avoid struggling towards the end as happened last year,” a source told FeverPitch. Okidi was in charge of relegated All Stars last season but had indicated his desire to move on after the team went down. -Gilbert Wandera
