Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya Leader Kalonzo Musyoka left the country for Democratic Republic of Congo where he will represent President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Government of Kenya at the burial of the country's former Prime Minister Etienne Tshisekedi.
The departed leader is the father of the current president Felix Tshisekedi.
Kalonzo's plane took off from the JKIA for the DRC capital Kinshasa a few minutes past noon.
He was seen off by senior WDM-K officials led by the party Secretary-General, Senator Judith Sijeny.

"Prior to his departure, the former VP held a closed-door meeting with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who was arriving from Addis Ababa," Sijeny said in a statement.
Mr Musyoka is expected back on Sunday.
