Kenya: The Law Society of Kenya has accused the Cabinet of breaching the Constitution by cancelling licences of all agencies involved in international adoption.
"The Government has also breached international conventions it earlier ratified on children," said LSK Secretary/Chief Executive Officer Apollo Mboya, adding the Government had failed on children matters.
The Cabinet approved a ban on inter-country adoption in its meeting on November 27, 2014.
