Lionel Messi isn't a stranger to breaking records.
His goalscoring stats are quite literally second to none and he's won more Ballon d'Ors than anyone else ever.
But on Thursday night he broke another record while playing for Argentina...and it isn't one he'll be proud of.
Because for the first time in 117 games he failed to have a shot on goal.
That seems almost unheard of for a man who has scored 509 goals in 658 games for club and country.

That's 116 consecutive games where he's managed to at least get one effort fired off towards goal but in Argentina's 2-1 win over Chile he drew a blank.
