Bahati is not new in blogs and other tabloids for his choices of late. Since ditching the gospel circles, he has fully immersed himself in the secular world and has no apologies to make if his new single, Fikra Za Bahati, is anything to go by.
The single is his first project coming off of his upcoming studio album ‘Love Like This.’ The expensive and clean-cut video is majorly shot in a casino where he occasionally puffs on a cigar. Flanked by other gamblers, Bahati goes ahead and takes jabs at fellow artists ranging from Sauti Sol to Ringtone.
He starts his jibe session by first dissing Sauti Sol for creating a record label after he had already done that and dismissed the entire label. He goes ahead and says, as for Ringtone, all he can is to don him a dress. He also makes fun of Daddy Owen after his infamous divorce.
On the diss radar is Octopizzo, aka Don Papichullo, for marrying a white woman, and he alleges that he couldn’t take things to order. “Mzungu ulipata ukashindwa kujipanga” Bahati sings.
