Uganda singer Juliana Kanyamozi is mourning after losing a close friend in the tragic Lake Victoria boat accident.
The singer took to social media to post an emotional message after her friend Chuck Brian Salvator a.k.a The Last King, one of the most celebrated celebrity makeup artistes in Uganda perished in the accident that left 29 others dead on Saturday.
“My bestie, I have been trying not to believe the news. I have been hoping you will text me at some point and tell me you are alright,” she said.
“But I cannot run away from the truth any more. Last time we spoke not too long ago you wanted to buy me a drink, I had to perform at a wedding and I said I could not make it, but I told you to have one on me.”
Kanyamozi regretted not spending time with him and wished they enjoyed the drink he had offered but was thankful of all the beautiful memories they created.

The ill-fated boat had over 100 revellers on board and was unregistered, according President Yoweri Museveni.
