A thirty-year-old man is being questioned by police in the United Arab Emirates over the gruesome death of an Ethiopian maid.
According to Khaleej Times, the 22-year-old maid fell to her death from the 19th floor of a residential building in the southern city of Sharjah.
The maid was found in a pool of blood by construction workers who reported the matter to the police on patrol.
She was, however, pronounced dead due to the serious injuries she had sustained by paramedics who were called to the scene.
The son of her 60 year-old-employer was taken in by police for questioning over the death.

The employer and her son, however, claim that the maid “fell from the window while she was cleaning the kitchen,” reported the news outlet.
A forensic investigation is reportedly underway.
