National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has reverted back to his Twitter bio hours after changing to ‘President’.
Immediately after Odinga was ‘sworn in’ in front of his cheering supporters who had thronged Uhuru Park from several parts of the country, his Twitter handlers changed his bio, perhaps to reflect his change in status.
On Tuesday the 30th of January, Odinga’s bio had read; ‘This is the official account of The Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, President of the Republic of Kenya’ while that of Uhuru Kenyatta read, ‘President of The Republic of Kenya.’
But on Wednesday, that bio had been deleted and now simply reads; ‘This is the official account of His Excellency Raila Amolo Odinga.’
The new title had elicited debate on social media as his supporters and those of Jubilee clashed over its interpretation and its use as far as presidency was concerned.
