Award-winning female pop singer Dela and her fellow Taurus Musik sign-up Kagwe Mungai have their showbiz year taking off to a good start after their sensational reception during a gig at the Carnivore’s Simba Saloon attended by hundreds of students on Saturday.
The event dubbed Qwetu House Party also featured performances by boy group Kansoul, Vanessa Mdee and newcomer singer Ketchup.
Dela received love as she got down with her Third Party Lover romantic song as well as her new release, Honey, as Kagwe did it with his popular singles African Lady and Give It To Me.
The event organised by Qwetu Living, a property organisation that deals with student accommodation, was meant to sensitise university students on how to access affordable and safe accommodation.
The event was supported by Homeboyz Entertainment.
