Popcaan to skip Machakos show over Ebola

Jamaican dancehall star Andre Jay Sutherland aka Popcaan, the singer behind current international hits Everything Nice and Where We Come From has cancelled his New Year Machakos performance, Pulse can confirm.

According to the Executive Producer of the MachaNYEConcert, Henri Carlos, the manager of the dancehall star confirmed that Popcaan cannot travel to Nairobi, Kenya because the Jamaican government has issued an alert warning its artistes not to travel to Africa because of Ebola.

“I was not only disappointed but also shocked. There is no Ebola threat in Kenya,” Kioko told Pulse, however adding that other international artistes lined-up for the three day, New Year's concert at Machakos People’s Park are still on board.
