Many have often referred to Dr. David Oyedepo as a the flamboyant Nigerian pastor thanks to his lifestyle, but his well-endowed Winners Chapel church also proves that he must be doing something right to keep his congregation expanding by the day.
However recent events may see the chapel brought down if at all the governmental Ministry which claims to own the land goes ahead to reclaim it.
As it emerges the Chapel which is an outstanding work of art and whose congregation comes from all parts of the city stands on the Diamond Park Estate in South B which also holds tons of other luxurious apartments but is said to be ‘Prime government land’.
If at all the land is reclaimed, a demolition process may have to take place leaving the chapel at a risk.
