Police in Machakos have arrested a middle-aged man after his wife was found dead in their Kalama Sub-County home last Friday, March 25.
Harrison Mutisya was arrested at the Mlolongo Market on Friday, April 1.
Police say they will interrogate him.
It is alleged he attempted suicide. Police took him to the Kitengela Sub-County Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment before being subjected to interrogation.

Thirty-five-year-old Faith Mueni, a mother of one daughter, was found inside the couple’s Kikumbo Village home with her throat slit.
Her car was also missing from the compound.
Police said they’re seeking to establish whether her husband Mutisya, who works as an auditor, played any role in her death.
Machakos County Director of Criminal Investigations Simon Waithaka confirmed to The Standard Mutisya’s arrest.
