Seventeen people have tested positive for the coronavirus from 4,297 tested in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry has said.
The country’s positivity rate is now 0.4 per cent, with 323,350 total confirmed cases and 3,491,411 cumulative tests conducted so far.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said no recoveries and Covid-19 deaths were reported today.
Total recoveries remain 317,536 while the death toll remains 5,647.
Further, some eleven patients are admitted in various health facilities countrywide, “while 96 are under the Home Based Isolation and Care program,” Kagwe said.

On Friday, the Ministry administered 25,084 vaccines across the country.
So far, 17.5 million vaccines have been administered nationwide.
1,198,249 doses have been administered to persons aged between 15 to 17 years, and only 29.4 per cent of adults are fully vaccinated.
