A hotel manager will spend 14 more days in custody as he awaits court's decision on his bail application following murder charges.
Daniel Jaoko, a licensed gun holder, has been at Kodiaga remand prison since August, suspected of shooting dead Peter Otieno, a Coast Bus employee at Polyview Estate.
On Monday, Jaoko pleaded not guilty to murder charges and applied to be released on bond. However, Kisumu High Court Judge Fred Ochieng' set September 23 for the ruling on the bail application.
Prosecutor Peter Muya had objected to the bail application, claiming if released Jaoko would interfere with the witnesses.
