Police are pursuing bandits who raided villages in Turkana East on Monday and stole an unknown number of livestock.
The bandits believed to have been from a neighbouring community, stormed Kalokume and Lochomin villages and drove away cows and goats.
According to residents, the attackers shot in the air attracting the attention of police.
Turkana County Commissioner Seif Matata said the raid took place at 10am.
“The bandits dispersed into two directions. Officers are pursuing them, and are yet to furnish us with more details," said Mr Matata.
