Anglican Church of Kenya Archbishop Jackson ole Sapit has urged the clergy to preach unity.
Addressing congregants at St Stephens ACK Cathedral in Milimani yesterday, Mr Sapit said he was disturbed by divisive opinions from the clergy over certain matters affecting the country.
The service was held to bid farewell to Bishop Abiero Mwai who is leaving office after serving for 24 years.
“We are called into service because of Christ and not for personal interests. Service to humanity is service to God," he said.
Sapit also urged Kenyans to shun homosexuality and lesbianism.
